Action Plan For Survivor Leadership in the Next Decade
Introducing the Action Plan….
This groundbreaking plan is the culmination of the collective efforts of over 300 survivor leaders, united by a shared mission to place survivor leadership at the forefront of the anti-human trafficking movement in practical terms and chart a course to bring this vision to life.
Currently, those with the most influence in the fight against human trafficking often lack firsthand lived experience. Governments, well-funded organizations, and foundations shape the landscape. While frontline NGOs play a vital role, their efforts are often driven by funding priorities and public appeal.
Our collective findings reveal that decisions, policies, service models, advocacy efforts, and pay structures have largely been crafted by individuals who don't share our lived experiences. The release of the ACTION PLAN is a catalyst for transformation, inspiring changes in policy and practice. It's a call to action to place survivors at the forefront of the anti-trafficking and anti-slavery movement. The Action Plan outlines our vision for making this a reality within the next decade.
We extend an open invitation to all who wish to support us to join in and walk alongside us as we navigate this new course.
