Shae Neste
Shae Nester (they/them) holds a master's degree in clinical psychology from Towson University and is a PhD student studying clinical psychology at the University of North Carolina - Greensboro in the USA. They conduct mental health therapy and research specializing in trauma and dissociation. Shae previously worked on the National Human Trafficking Hotline, at anti-trafficking and sexual assault recovery centers, and engages in public training and education about trauma and trafficking-related topics.
Zuhura Odhiambo Migot
Zuhura Odhiambo Migot, is a survivor leader from Kenya. She have worked with several organisations from different fields like Kenya association for tuberculosis and lung diseases, women fighting aids in kenya, Kenya medical research institute and currently working as a peer to peer counselor.
Anxhela Bruci
Anxhela is a facilitator consultant at Survivor Alliance. She is involved in grassroots work on reintegration practices by leading "EmpowerFULL" www.empowerfull.org, a socio-economic model, which assists in the economic reintegration of survivors of human trafficking in Albania. Anxhela holds an MA in Global Crime and Justice from the University of York, United Kingdom, and an MSc in Administration and Social Services. She enjoys long cycling routes exploring nature, writing poetry, and designing colorful graphics.
Chanel Dionne
Chanel Dionne is a Victim’s Services Coordinator/Open Doors Program Manager for the Policy Center’s Open-Door Outreach network, where she serves human trafficking survivors ages 10-24. In her work, Chanel oversees two Open Doors teams of clinicians, regional advocates, and survivor mentors. She also engages community partners to provide enhanced resources for human trafficking survivors and walks alongside survivors on their personal journey to recovery and healing. Chanel is a sought-after public speaker and training facilitator for issues surrounding human trafficking and justice system responses. Chanel earned a B.S. in Sociology and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work. Her goal is to bring to light not only the exploitation of girls and women in our communities, but also, to empower and bring hope to those who are survivors of human trafficking.
