Position Descriptions

Each Fellowship position was uniquely designed to meet the needs of each organization at this time. In addition to the specifics of the role, the following details will be different depending on the organization:

  • Weekly time commitment

  • Salaries will vary with the intention of achieving equity within the program while accommodating differences in each organization's internal pay scale and the cost of living in their respective locations.

  • Location of work: If a role is hybrid, then you must live in the geographic region near the office location. 

  • Time Zone: Although some roles are remote, please ensure that you can be available during the specified time zones.

Fellowship Positions

Position Title: LGBTQ Community Coordinator 

Required Hours: 20 hours a week 

Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt 

Pay Rate: $30,000.00

Position Title: Harriet Tubman Fellowship Associate 

Required Hours: 40 hours a week 

Status: Full-time

Pay Rate: $50,000.00

**The Harriet Tubman Fellowship Associate will be expected to work in the Washington, D.C. office at least two days per week from 9 am to 5 pm

Position Title: Program Associate, Counter Trafficking in Persons

Required Hours: 40 hours a week 

Status: Full-time

Pay Rate: $55,000 annually based on location

Position Title: People and Operations Manager

Required Hours: 40 hours a week 

Status: Full-time

Pay Rate: $78,000 to $85,000 depending on previous experience
