Membership Digital Town Square Guidelines
Welcome to the Survivor Alliance Digital Town Square discussion forum. The forum is available to help you connect with other members and share ideas, thoughts, network with other members, opportunities and information. We offer this forum for free for all users of our Digital Town Square, in the hopes that you can join us to create and promote interactions among members around the world and to build community ethos of collaboration instead of competition.
Please read our guidelines for healthy and appropriate engagement on the Forum. We will remind you to refer back to these guidelines from time to time.
User Expectations
Above all, users are expected to be kind, polite, helpful, and respectful. Engagement in the forum must be aligned with our Manifesto and Values. We understand that online communication can be misinterpreted and unintentional harm may occur. Please be mindful of your language and be open to feedback.
Assume the best of people and try to make things better. Beyond networking, connecting, sharing ideas, users are encouraged to connect and help others. If you know the answer to someone else’s question, it is greatly appreciated that you offer assistance. This is by no means mandatory, and no one is compelled to help anyone else.
Guideline violations may result in posting access being restricted by first being flagged for moderation. This restriction is meant to be temporary, and will be lifted when the moderators feel the situation has been resolved. If a user cannot follow the guidelines after that, their account will be blocked from posting. Further actions can and will be applied if necessary.
