Action Plan Reflections

The Action Plan Reflections

Welcome to the Action Plan Reflections blog series, where Action Plan facilitators come together to share their perspectives on the major themes and topics in the Action Plan. This blog series serves as a platform for meaningful conversations centered around the Action Plan, exploring its themes and how we can move forward as a collective to implement the Action Plan.

Survivor leaders often encounter obstacles when attempting to access platforms for open and unrestricted discussion on matters specific to the anti-slavery and human trafficking sector. Despite possessing invaluable firsthand experiences and insights, survivor voices are frequently marginalized or sidelined within conventional structures of advocacy and policymaking.

This platform seeks to provide survivors with a dedicated space to amplify their voices, unrestrained from the typical constraints observed in the sector's media and content. Here, survivors are empowered to engage in candid dialogue about the imperative topics we aim to influence and change. By fostering an environment of authenticity and inclusivity, we strive to elevate survivor perspectives centered around the conversations highlighted in the Action Plan.
